Dr. Sandra Kupferman
Dr. Kupferman received her dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine while simultaneously completing a master’s in education from the same institution. After completing a one-year general practice residency at Long Island Jewish Hospital, she returned to University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine to complete her specialty training in periodontics and implant dentistry. Dr. Kupferman went on to complete a fellowship program at New York University College of Dentistry, focusing on advanced implant and bone augmentation procedures. Dr. Kupferman has been a clinical assistant professor since 2002 at New York University College of Dentistry in the Department of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry. She has been involved in numerous research projects and presentations through the NYU Implant Department. She is a member of the Academy of Osseointegration, American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, and the International Congress of Oral Implantology.
